Hanover, February 6, 1772. Yesterday was celebrated the
nuptial solemnity between Mr. Bezelfel Woodward, Tutor of
Dartmouth College, to the amiable Miss Polly Wheelock,
second daughter of the Rev. Doctor Wheelock, President of
said College; a lady whose virtue and modesty, require no
encomiums to recommend her, whose souls mutually attuned,
and exactly fitted to each other, will doubtless share
largely in social bliss and satisfaction.
The might power that form'd the mind,
One mould for every two design'd,
  [ ] bless'd the new born pair,
This be a match, for this he said,
Then down he sent the souls he made,
  To seek the bodies there.
